Why Photos Matter

You Cannot See Your Own Roof. So We Show You.

Most of the things that go wrong with a roof are invisible from the ground. A split in a lead soaker is a hairline. A slipped slate on the back slope cannot be seen from the street at all. That is why roofing has a reputation problem: it is easy for someone to tell you a roof is finished when it is not, and hard for you to check.

Our answer is to photograph every job at every stage and send you the pictures. Before we touch anything, so you can see the fault we are quoting for. During, so you can see the batten we replaced or the lead we took out. After, so you can see it finished. If we say your chimney needed re-flaunching, you will have a photo of the old flaunching with the crack in it.

It also means that if you ever sell the house, you have a record of what was done and when. Surveyors like that. So do buyers.
